ESO Surveyors has secured the three-year subcontract construction survey package for the $500mill road upgrades surrounding the new Northern Beaches Hospital in Frenchs Forest, Sydney. This contract follows on from ESO’s successful delivery of the Early Works requirements including data capture, Survey Control and Preservation of Survey Infrastructure.
The joint venture of Ferrovial Agroman Australia and York Civil have engaged ESO Surveyors to deliver the initial survey works.
The Project is proposed to be carried out generally within the following parts of Frenchs Forest: Warringah Rd from its intersection with Maxwell Pde to its intersection with Courtley Road; Naree Rd/Frenchs Forest Rd from its intersection with Forest Way to its intersection with Warringah Rd; Wakehurst Parkway from about 500 metres north of Frenchs Forest Rd to about 500 metres south of Warringah Rd; Forest Way from around Adams St about 750 metres south to its intersection with Warringah Rd.
Road widening, intersection upgrades, new pedestrian bridges & bus priority lanes are all options being considered to ensure the road network operates effectively to service the new hospital & reduce congestion (text from www.cordellconnect.com.au)
