ESO have provided us with an excellent service on the RGD project. The surveyors supplied were highly competent and fitted in well as part of the project team. Equally the backup support from Brisbane was excellent with no issues or disputes. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Torrens Rail Junction Crossing Removal - SA

Andrew Arthur, Area Engineering Manager, Cross River Rail

As a Project Manager for Civil Construction projects (Torrens Rail Junction – level crossing removal), I must thank ESO for their class leading expertise and commitment to delivery.  I commend ESO for employing leading edge technology to deliver fast and accurate survey as-built data to allow Train return to service during high pressure track possessions.  This was exemplified via their cloud-based 12D field data transfer – meaning their surveyors spent more time in the field. Additionally, their Amberg Rail Trolley and laser scanning capability provided significant time saving for track tamping/as-builts and also kinematic envelope clearance reports.  I commend ESO for having highly capable staff that are expert data managers and digital problem solvers.  I commend ESO for understanding what is important to Civil Contractors and responding to the demands of rail possession works and around the clock working.

Overall, ESO were very professional, accurate and committed to providing a high level of service and value-add to their client.

M80 - VIC

Sam Thornton, Senior Project Manager, Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance

ESO Surveyors were engaged to manage and perform all surveying activities on the M80 Ring Road Upgrade – Sunshine to Calder Project. Working collaboratively with the Fulton Hogan construction team, ESO were able to solve many challenges during the project, including; performance of laser scanning on Victoria’s 2nd tallest bridge to the strict methodology nominated by the international bridge design consultant, establishment, management and maintenance of machine control processes for earthworks plant and equipment and the implementation of a settlement monitoring regime throughout the project’s extent.  The ESO survey team became an integral and respected member of the construction delivery team; earned through their dedication to always providing the necessary support within the high intensity, 24/7 working environment of a complex major freeway project.

Regency Road to Pym Street & Ovingham Level Crossing Removal – SA

Michelle Grose, Survey Manager, McConnell Dowell

ESO Surveyors were the principal surveyors employed on both the Regency Road to Pym Street Project and the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal for McConnell Dowell. Their team of surveyors were able to provide all services required including road and bridge construction, underground utility locating and installation surveys, structural monitoring, boundary surveys and final as built surveys and modelling.

It was a pleasure to work with a company who used the latest technology to provide a streamlined process from the office to the field and back again. All staff were professional, competent, and able to service a couple of high paced, and at times challenging projects. I look forward to engaging ESO Surveyors on future projects.
